For the 2025 edition, Cortona On The Move, through OTM Academy, has launched a new opportunity for young photographers.
In collaboration with photography schools across Italy, this initiative offers students visibility, opportunities for dialogue, and exclusive access to the Cortona On The Move festival.
What it offers
- Exhibition of works: Selected students will have the chance to showcase their projects in the OTM Academy space during the festival’s opening.
- Priority portfolio reviews: Early booking access to one-on-one sessions with industry experts during the festival’s opening days.
- Dialogue with festival directors: Exclusive meetings with the Cortona On The Move directors, held directly in participating schools.
- Discounted festival access: Special discounts on passes, portfolio reviews, and other festival activities.
This initiative acts as a bridge between education and the professional world of photography, providing young talents with a unique opportunity to step forward and connect with the international photography scene.
Participating schools
- Fondazione Studio Marangoni, based in Florence, will present the works of students from the Documentary Photography course
- Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, based in Milan, will present a project by Stefano Frighi, a student of the Two-Year Professional Photography Course and winner of the grant for the best artistic portfolio.
- Nuovo Istituto Design, based in Perugia, will select up to three photographic projects and one multimedia project on the theme ‘Simbïòṡi,’ developed by students of the Photography & Visual Content Creation course.
