A selection of images from the Intesa Sanpaolo Historical Archives (fondo Archivio Publifoto and Sezione fotografica) will outline the history of our country during the 20th century. The choice of imagery underlines the relationship between citizens and landscape through events such as agricultural ventures, environmental disasters, rebuilding efforts and infrastructural development of the territory.
Italy is described from the viewpoint of its landscape with a vision that wants to go beyond the beauty of it, and highlight the continuous interaction with the land, which also holds within its layers the historical memory of our country.
