Davide Bertuccio recounts someone’s life today, marked by the passage of time and the experiences of an individual that could be those of each one of us. What makes Claudio – a showman and circus performer – so special, is that he needs an applause that is no longer there. The consequences of COVID-19 made his existence even more fragile and solitary, and the images put together by the photographer narrate this very emptiness.
Davide (1991, Messina, Italy) is a photojournalist based in Milan. He graduated in 2016 at the IED (European Institute of Design) in the school of visual arts, in photography.
