For 50 years an important encounter has been taking place in Cortona: between the town’s inhabitants and students of the University of Georgia Studies Abroad programme.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of UGA Cortona, the exhibition “Baci from Cortona” displays personal photographs and memories collected through an open-call targeted at Cortonese and Americans. Using photography as medium, “Baci from Cortona” tells the story of two cultures that for 50 years have intertwined and enriched each other, leaving a deep mark in the lives of those who experienced this adventure.
