Ada Trillo
La Caravana
“In October 2018, I flew to Chiapas, Mexico, to begin my journey with a caravan of migrants headed for the United States, fleeing poverty, gang violence and crime in Central America.” Over the course of several weeks, Ada Trillo traveled nearly 3,000 miles to the US border in Tijuana. The caravan is more than a hotly debated political issue; it is primarily a humanitarian crisis affecting over 7,000 people – including nearly 3,000 children”.
Ada Trillo (El Paso, Texas, 1976) is a documentary photographer based in Philadelphia, PA and Juarez, Mexico.
