From the perspective of a terrace offering a 180-degree view of the city, Luis Cobelo recounts Barcelona’s lockdown. A video work that explores humanity in its new habits and new meeting places, socializing at a distance: roofs, balconies, windows. Some kiss or hug, others just talk, many do some physical exercise, look at the horizon, play ball, sunbathe, take selfies.
Luis Cobelo (1970, Acarigua, Venezuela) has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Zulia, Venezuela. Since 2001 he has worked independently across borders developing documentary projects in America, Asia and Europe that have been published in many magazines and newspapers.
